More than 25 years of keeping and breeding reptiles – driven by passion, responsibility and the aim of documenting every animal as transparently as possible.
A passion that became a family project
Reptiles have fascinated us for more than 25 years. What started as a passion for these remarkable animals gradually grew into a responsible, long-term breeding project.
Today, JZ-Reptiles is a true family project and the next generation is already part of it. The second generation of our family is actively involved in the daily care, keeping and breeding of our animals. That means a lot to us: knowledge, experience and a passion for reptiles are not simply passed on – they grow with us as a family.
Our focus is on species-appropriate, long-term husbandry and responsible breeding. Pairings are chosen carefully, and we document origin, genetics and development as clearly as possible.
For us, responsibility does not end when an animal leaves. We want future keepers to know exactly what animal they are taking home, where it comes from and what it needs. If questions come up later, we are still here to help.
